Ankit Solanki
Ankit fell in love with architecture as a child, enthralled by the drawings he studied on the walls of his father's studio in India. At age 12, he relocated with his family to California and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Design & Architecture from Academy of Art University. Working under interior design notable Tineke Triggs, he developed a solid skillset in project management, 3D design and finish aesthetics before following his roots to Armour Architecture in 2015. Ankit spent nearly five years immersed in multiple projects and established himself as a strong designer with a great work ethic. Looking to explore a larger studio, he moved to William Duff Architects, where he strengthened his technical detailing, research, and team mentoring skills. In 2001, he realized his true passion was classical design and re-joined the expanded team at Armour Architecture as Senior Designer. In his leisure time, Ankit is a star cricket player, avid golfer and sports fan, and devoted father, husband, and son to his Desi family.
